Reagan and Todd’s wedding took place on December 5 in Kinston, North Carolina.  It was quite the event, with perfect details fitting for a December wedding.  All of us were excited to experience the small town about which we have heard so much, as well as all its charms (including Eastern North Carolina Barbeque and Bojangles’ on every corner!).  Reagan’s photographer was the fabulous Amy Free, who truly did an amazing job of capturing the spirit of the entire day, and best of all, ended up being a new friend to all of us!  Below are some of the highlights.

Some Chocolate Butterbean details (program labels, signs, and Todd’s gift, which was a painting of a cross of bowties with his favorite verse below):

The church where the wedding was held was absolutely beautiful.  I’m not sure how old it was, but it had all the architectural details and majestic beauty of old construction.  The bridal parlor (where Reagan’s dress was hanging) was breathtaking in and of itself, with full length stained glass windows, and an amazing chandelier.  Reagan looked gorgeous in her satin gown with an open neckline and elbow length sleeves.

Here is a closer look at the bride and groom upon their exit.  Reagan changed into an adorable shorter gown so she could enjoy dancing at the reception, and the groom and groomsmen’s attire was really dapper.  They wore navy and green tartan plaid pants with velvet jackets and gold custom Southern Proper bowties.  All together, it was a very smart looking ensemble.  (As it should be, Todd is an expert in men’s fashion at Coffman’s!)

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Howell!  (All photos by Amy Free.  Check out her blog – she does some beautiful work!)

amy free - I loooove how you pulled all this together… obviously your vision was there from the beginning and I was lucky enough to be the one there to capture it! (December 16, 2009 at 5:11 pm)
